Shopee encounters numerous business scenarios that require multi-table joint analysis. As part of the Data Infrastructure team, our objective is to offer mature solutions and provide stable infrastructure to support Shopee's diverse operations. StarRocks, with its robust join performance and stable product features, has significantly addressed the requirements of many shared business operations that involve complex multi-table queries.
In this talk, Teng Ma will provide an in-depth exploration of Shopee's journey with StarRocks. This will encompass the careful selection and strategic design of cluster deployment approaches, the ongoing evolution of the product ecosystem, and the insightful sharing of two typical user scenarios: Ad-hoc multi-table queries and the integration of StarRocks on Hive into an API. This API, in turn, empowers Data as a Service solution.
