通过 VIOS 将 ISO 挂载到 LPAR步骤

一、确认需要安装7.2的分区 vhost等信息

二、创建虚拟媒体库（vios）

1、检查是否已创建虚拟媒体库
#lsrep
2、在VIOS上创建虚拟媒体库。(默认目录为 /var/vio/VMLibrary)
df -g
若没有进行创建
$ mkrep -sp rootvg -size 30G

3、将ISO文件拷贝到默认媒体库目录下面

#cp -p /xxx/xxx/xxx.iso /var/vio/VMLibrary

4、创建系统安装镜像(如果上传的是ISO那么可以省略这步)

# mkvopt -name AIX7.1_disk1.iso -file /var/vio/VMLibrary/AIX7.1_base_disk1.iso -ro

$ lsrep

5、创建挂载虚拟光驱。
$ mkvdev -fbo -vadapter vhost0
vtopt0 Available
$ lsvopt
VTD 媒体大小(mb)

$ lsmap

6、修改iso文件属性为只读，此时iso文件可以被多个虚拟光驱同时挂载。
# chvopt –name AIX7.1_base_disk1.iso –access ro
7、加载安装镜像到虚拟光驱上。
$ loadopt -disk AIX7.1_base_disk1.iso -vtd vtopt0
8、如果要卸下光盘或者换光盘
$ unloadopt -vtd vtopt*

三、给分区安装操作系统

启动分区 profile 选择高级 选择 SMS

选择虚拟光驱 安装


VIO Server端的管理命令
1) 登陆用户名为padmin
2) 进入Ksh：$ oem_setup_env
3) 退出Ksh：# exit
4) 在$下扫描硬件：$cfgdev
5) 在$下配置：$ cfgassist
6) 查看启动顺序：$ bootlist -mode normal -ls
7) 查看物理卷：$ lspv
8) 查看虚拟设备：$ lsdev -virtural
9) 查看物理适配器：$ lsdev -type adapter
10) 查看虚拟以太网卡对应信息：$ lsmap -all -net
11) 查看虚拟scsi对应信息：$ lsmap -all | more
12) 列出所有vhost映射：$ lsmap -all | grep vhost
13) 查看镜像库：$ lsrep



$lsmap -vadapter vhost0

$mkvdev -fbo -vadapter vhost0


$ lsmap -vadapter vhost0

$ lsrep

$ loadopt -vtd vtopt0 -disk base_61_TL7
$ lsrep



Boot the client partition from the virtual optical device:
A.) Activate the AIX Partition to the SMS Menu
B.) Select the virtual optical device (CD-ROM)

Upon exiting SMS, the AIX partition will boot up from the virtual optical device to the AIX Installation Menus.
Step 8: Install the AIX operating system.
Step 9: Unloading the virtual media disk:
$ unloadopt -vtd vtopt0
Step 10: Removing the VM Library
A.) Unmap the vtopt# VTDs from the vhost(s)
$ rmvdev -vtd <VTDname>
B.) Remove the virtual media disk(s) from the Virtual Media Repository:
$ rmvopt -name <name of virtual optical disk>
C.) Remove the repository:
$ rmrep [-f
