| -ren | Causes the database server to rename the specified blobspace, dbspace, extspace, or sbspace | Restrictions: You can rename a blobspace, dbspace, extspace, or sbspace when the database server is in quiescent mode. For more information, see the chapter on managing disk space in the IBM® Informix® Administrator's Guide. | | -n name | Specifies the new name for the blobspace, dbspace, extspace, or sbspace | Restrictions: The blobspace, dbspace, external space, or sbspace name must be unique and cannot exceed 128 bytes. It must begin with a letter or underscore and must contain only letters, numbers, underscores, or the $ character. For more information, see the chapter on managing disk space in the IBM Informix Administrator's Guide. The syntax must conform to the Identifier segment.
