The position is with Azure MySQL Service Team in Azure Data Group.
Responsibilities
We
are looking for strong engineers who can develop cutting-edge
innovations in the cloud computing space. The candidate should be
energetic, motivated and a self-starter with a strong focus on getting
things done. The candidate should be customer driven - clearly
understanding customer requirements and incorporating them in the
design. The candidate should be able to design and build high quality
features that are robust, scalable, fault tolerant and supportable. The
candidate need have the ability to drive a small team to get the work
delivered. Experience on DevOps is plus.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience building software and/or services.
Demonstrated problem solving and debugging skills.
Broad knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
Superb design and coding experience that includes development in C++/C# and with distributed programming models.
Demonstrated ability and commitment to deliver features on schedule with high quality and with engineering discipline.
Ability to handle multiple tasks while balancing short term and long term needs.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with others.
Experience with system modeling and architecting large platform level components is a plus

Ability
to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening
requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but
are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass
the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two
years thereafter.
