What is Cyber Threat Defense?
Cyber Threat Defense (CTD) 1.x is a Cisco Validated Design
(CVD) that leverages NetFlow for advanced threat detection. It is
a solution composed of multiple products.

What is NetFlow?
NetFlow is telemetry data generated by network devices (switches, routers,
gateways, etc.). It is statistical information and is not a component of Deep
Packet Inspection (DPI) technologies (e.g. IPS).
